Visit the Zeishof hut

The Zeishof hut is a rustic, very cosy ski hut in the Dachstein West ski region. Regional products and delicious delicacies are offered. The meat used comes exclusively from the Gosing farmers! Specialities of the Zeishof hut are the unique lamb dish and the homemade cheese. Homemade pastries and homemade Liquor are also served.

We do not offer overnight accommodation!

In summer you can reach us on foot via the "Herrenweg" or by bike via the "Hornspitzrunde"

In winter you can reach us via the Hornspitz II family ski run.

The hut is open from December to March/April, depending on the opening times of the Dachstein West ski region.

In summer we are open for you daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm from the end of May to the end of September!

Accessibility / arrival

The Zeishofalm can be reached after an approx. one-hour drive along the Hornspitzrunde, starting from Pass Gschütt. You can reach the alp on foot via the Herrenweg and from the Falmbergalm along the forest road.

By car
from Salzburg:

Highway exit Golling - Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau
Gosau: turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße after the Pass Gschütt junction

from Linz:
Regau highway exit - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße

from Vienna/Graz:
Liezen highway exit onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Aussee, continue on B145 towards Bad Goisern, take the B166 ramp to Golling/Gosau/Obertraun/Hallstatt/Bad Goisern-Süd, turn right at Gosaumühle junction towards Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction, drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße

From Villach:
Tauernautobahn to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße to Gosau
Gosau: turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße after the Pass Gschütt junction

By train
Route Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue by bus 541 in the direction of Gosaumühle, change to bus 542 in the direction of Lake Gosau

By bus (Sundays irregular):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, bus stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to bus 542 direction Gosausee, get off at the bus stop "Gosau Wirtsweg"

Bus 541 (Bad Ischl - Gosaumühle)
Bus 542 (Gosaumühle - Gosausee) Stop: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166, Gosau, Gemeindeamt, Abzw. Pass Gschütt, Gosau Wirtsweg
