Farrenau Mountain Toll Road - Kasberg - Hochberghaus

This mountain road leads six kilometers uphill to the Kasberg family hiking area at 1,200 m above sea level.

Ride about 3 km from Grünau in the direction of Schindlbach to the mountain road ascent. The ascent (approx. 12%) takes you over pastureland, through high forest, larch meadows and beech valleys, with views of the valley and distant vistas, until you arrive at the Hochberg parking lot after 6 km and 12 hairpin bends.

The Hochberghaus mountain inn awaits you here at 1200 m above sea level - a base for hikers, mountaineers and those seeking relaxation, as well as a starting point for beautiful hikes to the Kasberg, the Sepp-Huber-Hütte and more.
