World customs - words and sounds of remembrance

A special evening to pause for thought: Actor Karl Markovics and organist Martin Haselböck create a musical and literary homage to two important voices: Bodo Hell - with whom the festival wanted to perform in 2024, but who went missing in the Dachstein region shortly beforehand - and Ernst Jandl, with whom Haselböck once developed the "Weltgebräuche" project.

Between language, organ sounds and silence, an evening of nuances is created: touching, raw, poetic - full of wit, contradiction and expansiveness.

A concert for listeners who want to experience the passing and the existing, the personal and the political, the word and the sound as part of a whole. In the familiar parish church of Bad Ischl, memory becomes the present.
