Raftsmen Memorial
The monument to the raftsmen situated a few metres upstream of the bridge across the Ager river, the effluence of Lake Attersee, marks the former reloading point of the rafters and boatmen.
At the Heimathaus (museum of local history) in Gmundnerstraße, interesting exhibits bring to life the work of the raftsmen which constituted an important economic factor in the Attersee region.
