Our family run farm lies in the heart of the Salzkammergut Lake District within the wonderful landscape of Faistenau. Here you can enjoy nature at its best. Surrounded by snow clad meadows and woodlands, we are just a 5 minute walk to the village centre. We are the ideal starting-point for a great variety of activities. Within 3 minutes you can reach the cross-country trails and the winter hiking paths and also the ski hire. The Alpine skiing area of Gaissau-Hintersee is 5 km from here and for those who do not feel at home on skis, then why not try snow-tubing, tobogganing, a horse-drawn sleigh riide, winter walking and much more. Pure relaxation for the body and soul. In our newly furnished romantic guest rooms you will find a shower, WC, hair dryer, Sat-TV/DVD and fridge, all you need for a restful holiday. "Eat like a king", is the saying when you start the day with our tempting full breakfast buffet. Wherever possible we help you with tips and ideas for a pleasureable holiday. Accessibility / arrival

By car: Arrival via the West motorway A1, junction Thalgau. Follow the main road (B 158) in direction to Hof bei Salzburg until you reach the traffic circle “Baderluck”. At the first junction turn into the main road (Hinterseestraße) and after a few kilometers you reach your holiday destination Faistenau. When you leave the main road (Hinterseestraße) in direction to Faistenau, turn right and follow the road (Lidaunstraße). After a few metres you reach the farm "Eisenstattgut"! With the Postbus From Salzburgs bus station, opposite the train station, there is a good bus connection into the Fuschlsee region and also to Faistenau. You will find details in internet under www.svv-info.at. With the Train Information and connections can be found under following addresses www.oebb.at or www.bahn.de By Air Salzburg Airport lies very close to Salzburg city. The Bus Nr. 2 brings you from the airport to the main station where you change to continue with the post bus.
